Tranmere sign Mark Duffy, Nicky Maynard, Stephen Walker & Lee O'Connor

Nicky Maynard ended last season on loan at Newport, helping them reach the League Two play-off final

Tranmere Rovers have signed Mark Duffy on a deal until January, Nicky Maynard on a contract until the end of the season and Middlesbrough's Stephen Walker and Celtic's Lee O'Connor on a season-long loan.

Duffy, 35, was at Fleetwood last season while Maynard, 34, most recently played for fellow League Two side Newport.

Walker, 20, had loans at League One sides MK Dons and Crewe last season.

O'Connor, 21, rejoins the club having spent last season on loan.
