Hartlepool United sign Rotherham's Jake Hull & Southport striker Marcus Carver

Hartlepool United have signed defender Jake Hull on loan from Rotherham until the end of the season as well as Southport striker Marcus Carver on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
Hull, 20, spent the first half of the season on loan at non-league Guiseley.
Meanwhile, Southport say they accepted a bid for 28-year-old Carver, who had scored 12 goals in 17 league games for the Sandgrounders this season.
Carver has also previously had spells at Chorley, Accrington and Halifax.

"He has the attitude, character and work ethic we are looking for. He has already scored 17 goals this season and hopefully more to come in blue and white.
"[Jake is] Another player who comes in with a great attitude and character. He has the attributes we were looking for in a defender and we know he can be a real success here."
