Milton Keynes have made three transfer deadline day signings.

Aston Villa full-back Kaine Kesler, 19, captain of Villa's FA Youth Cup-winning side in 2020-21, has signed on loan after spending the first half of the season at Swindon.

Manchester City midfielder Matt Smith, 22, has signed for an undisclosed fee.

Fellow midfielder Dan Kemp, 23, has also signed for an undisclosed fee, from League Two side Leyton Orient, to take Dons' January signings to seven.

All three players could feature for fourth-placed Dons against Lincoln City on Saturday.

The Dons have not disclosed the length of deal for 15-times capped Wales international Smith, who had been on a season-long loan with Championship side Hull City.

Kesler spent the first half of the season on loan with League Two side Swindon Town, making 21 appearances.
