Queen's Park and Dunfermline Athletic played out a drab stalemate in the first leg of their Scottish Championship play-off semi-final.
Home keeper Calum Ferrie kept out an 18th-minute effort from Kevin O'Hara.
Jakub Stolarczyk had to save from midfielder Jake Davidson after the interval, while Ferrie made routine stops to deny Josh Edwards and O'Hara.
The teams meet again in Fife on Saturday, with either Airdrieonians or Montrose awaiting the winners.
