Cheye Alexander and Jordan Green: Gillingham sign full-back and winger
- Published
Gillingham have signed former AFC Wimbledon full-back Cheye Alexander and ex-Barnsley winger Jordan Green.
Both players have been on trial at the club and impressed manager Neil Harris enough to earn a contract.
Former West Ham academy player Alexander moved to the Dons in 2020 after playing in the National League for Barnet and Aldershot Town and being selected for the England 'C' team.
The 27-year-old went on to appear 50 times in League One for Wimbledon.
Green, 27, began his career in Fulham's academy and signed for Bournemouth in 2015.
He did not make a first-team appearance for the Cherries and spent time on loan at Newport County, before joining Yeovil Town and then Barnsley in 2019 where he played 12 times.
Last season, Green played for Dulwich Hamlet in the National League South.
