West Bromwich Albion fought back from 2-0 down claim a draw at Huddersfield Town.

The Terriers looked set for a second successive home win after a first-half double from on-loan Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin.

But Jed Wallace, a summer signing from Millwall, got one back for the Baggies before levelling on 57 minutes.

Albion's fourth draw in six games sees them drop to 15th, while the Terriers fall to 23rd after one win in their opening five matches.

Anjorin had only previously scored once, mostly in appearances from the bench for the Terriers since his initial arrival on loan from Stamford Bridge in January.

On-loan Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin trebled his Huddersfield goal tally inside the first half-hour

But he doubled that tally with a fine right-foot curler on 11 minutes, then trebled it with his second of the afternoon when he won a race with Dara O'Shea for a loose ball on the right before running on to beat Baggies keeper David Button at his near post.

The goals came either side of fine saves by home goalkeeper Lee Nicholls to keep out a close-range shot from Okay Yokuslu, followed by another block to deny Karlan Grant.

Albion finally found a way through eight minutes before the break when Wallace fed Grady Diangana before moving to meet the Albion winger's cutback for an unmarked side-foot finish.

Wallace was again left unmarked to volley in the equaliser after being fed by fellow summer signing John Swift's dinked pass.

Nicholls had to make another key save to deny Grant, before Diangana volleyed wide and Yokuslu headed over, and Bruce felt his side should have been awarded a penalty for a challenge on Grant, but home substitute Jordan Rhodes also had a chance to win it, only to head wide.

Huddersfield boss Danny Schofield:

"It was a well-deserved point from a tough game against quality opponents and we started in an outstanding manner.

"Once you go 2-0 up at home you probably expect to win the game and we haven't. But overall it's probably a decent point.

"We identified there would be moments where we could counter. We can be a threat on the counter. But we defended a bit too deep at times and allowed West Brom to enter our box. It's something we will address.

"We will keep working with Tino Anjorin so he can play 90 minutes. He is young but he will get there."

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Bruce:

"It's the biggest penalty I've ever seen. Everybody in the crowd knew it was a penalty.

"It's frustrating, however I couldn't fault the way we were. After a wonderful goal by them and we've gifted them a second goal, we still played the way we wanted to play. It's starting to take shape a little bit.

"We didn't do well enough in the first 10-15 minutes. After that we controlled the game well and had some big chances.

"I couldn't fault them in their effort. It was there for everybody to see. Defensively we have to sharpen up a bit but overall the way we've played was good."
