Argentina and France meet in Sunday's World Cup final, with both looking to win the coveted trophy for the third time.

We asked you to pick a combined XI from the two squads - and this is who you picked.

It will not surprise you that Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe were the two most picked players, with the latter edging out his Paris St-Germain team-mate after being selected in more than 97.5% of teams, while Messi made 97.2%.

They are joined in a front three by Manchester City's Argentina forward Julian Alvarez (49%), seeing off France's Olivier Giroud (35%).

Aston Villa's Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez (58%) beat Hugo Lloris (41%) to win the gloves, but is joined by only one team-mate - Manchester United's Lisandro Martinez (38%) - in the defensive unit. The centre-back gets in despite starting only two games in the tournament.

He is joined by Jules Kounde, Raphael Varane and Theo Hernandez, with the impressive Antoine Griezmann, Aurelien Tchouameni and Enzo Fernandez making up the midfield.
