Jersey Bulls extended their unbeaten run to nine games in all competitions after a 2-0 win at 10-man Fleet Town.

Having missed some early chances, top scorer Lorne Bickley put the Bulls ahead after half an hour with his 23rd goal of the season.

The hosts' Omreiki Myles was sent off for a second booking after an hour.

The islanders sealed the victory with a Luke Campbell penalty 10 minutes from full time after a Fleet player had handled the ball in the penalty area.

The victory sees Bulls consolidate third place in Combined Counties Premier South.

Raynes Park Vale went top after a 4-0 win over Knaphill, with the islanders five points adrift of the the leaders and four behind second-placed Abbey Rangers who have played four games more.

"It was one of our better performances of the season, first half particularly," Bulls manager Gary Freeman told BBC Radio Jersey.

"We probably should have been ahead by more than just the one, but second half was a bit more scrappy and it was just a case of making sure we got the job done.

"But Lorne's popped up again with another goal, which is crucial for our centre forward scoring the amount of goals that he is, we're going to rely on him to do that for the rest of the season to make sure we get to where we want to be."
