Winless Cheltenham continued their torrid start to the season as they were beaten by Peterborough and equalled the English Football League record for the longest run without scoring a goal at the start of a campaign.
The Robins had two players sent off at either end of the match, with Harrison Burrows, Jonson Clarke-Harris and Peter Kioso all scoring for Peterborough.
Cheltenham, who have picked up just one point this season after eight games, fell to the bottom of League One and failed to find the back of the net once again.
Their eight-match dry streak this campaign means they draw level with Halifax Town for the longest run without a goal in the EFL, a mark set by the Shaymen during the 1990-91 season.
The visitors' night got off to the worst possible start when James Olayinka was sent off only five minutes in for catching Ephron Mason-Clark with a flying boot.
Yet Wade Elliott's side held their composure to keep Posh at bay during the first half - and they even came close to snatching the lead but Aidan Keena's shot hit the post instead.
Early in the second half, Peterborough finally surged ahead with two goals in seven minutes, Burrows scoring the opener before firing in the corner from which Clarke-Harris headed home.
Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, who came on as a 76th-minute substitute, was then sent off just over 10 minutes later for his second booking.
Kioso rubbed salt into the wounds as he struck from distance in stoppage time to add Peterborough's third and pile more pressure on Robins boss Elliott.
