Tottenham transfer news: Spurs sign strikers Martha Thomas & Zhang Linyan

Tottenham have signed striker Martha Thomas on a two-year deal from Manchester United on the Women's Super League's transfer deadline day.

Scotland striker Thomas, 27, joined United in 2021 and scored two goals in 29 appearances last season.

She is Spurs' second signing of the day after forward Zhang Linyan joined on loan from Chinese Women's Super League club Wuhan Jianghan University.

Linyan, 22, will join up with Tottenham in October after the Asian Games.

The China international spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Grasshopper Club Zurich and featured in all of her country's matches at this summer's Women's World Cup.
