Asmir Begovic: Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper has red card against Leeds overturned
- Published
Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has had the red card given to him in the 1-0 defeat at Leeds United overturned after an appeal.
The 36-year-old was sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity after referee David Webb judged he had fouled Patrick Bamford outside the box late in the Championship match.
Replays showed Begovic made no contact with the Leeds forward.
The Bosnian will now be available for Saturday's home game against Blackburn.
