Crewe Alexandra assistant boss Ryan Dicker has been given a one-match touchline ban for using improper and insulting language to a match official.

The 37-year-old was sent off for his protests following an incident in last weekend's 4-2 defeat at Salford City.

Courtney Baker-Richardson had a second goal disallowed for offside and Matt Smith scored for Salford just moments later to put them 2-1 in front.

Dicker admitted a Football Association charge and was also fined £250.

Crewe are at home to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
