Liam Manning: Oxford United boss 'hugely surprised' to be sent off against Wycombe

Oxford United boss Liam Manning says he was "hugely surprised" to receive a red card against Wycombe Wanderers.
The 38-year-old was sent off by referee Sebastian Stockbridge after their opponents were awarded their second penalty of the game in the 81st minute.
"I am still waiting to hear what I am accused of," Manning told BBC Radio Oxford.
"I was hugely surprised to get shown a red card.
"I said a few bits but nothing that I thought was actually that bad.
"I've heard a lot worse recently from opposition managers during games, so I am really surprised."
Oxford would go on to draw the game against Wycombe 2-2 after being awarded their own spot-kick deep into added time, which Cameron Brannagan neatly tucked away.
Manning, who had never been booked during his managerial career, is yet to be charged by the Football Association so he is free to be on the touchline for Tuesday's League One fixture against Lincoln City.
"Any officials who have worked with me or who knows me, know that I have a huge amount of respect for them and I try not to get too involved," the U's head coach added.
"At the weekend of course I probably said a couple of bits that I shouldn't have but nothing to the extent that warrants a straight red for me.
"I want to see what the report says and accuses me of saying.
"I try not to give the referees too much attention I am more concentrated on being there for the players.
"Saturday was a difficult because we go away talking about the referee rather than a good game of football between two teams that are well coached."
