Oxford United winger Stan Mills credits their "dangerous" attack for 2-0 win over Lincoln City in League One.
The victory at a rain-soaked LNER Stadium on Tuesday ended the U's run of three games without a victory.
"It was a really good away performance and hopefully we can keep the momentum going," Everton loanee Mills told BBC Radio Oxford after the match.
"We did well to keep Lincoln to just small chances whilst we were dangerous every time that we attacked."
Mills, who was brought to Oxford on season-long-loan this summer, was brought on early to replace Sam Long - who went off injured after making a tackle and conceding a free-kick.
The 20-year-old has made 14 appearances for Liam Manning's U's already this campaign and scored one goal.
His effort was turned into the net by the Lincoln goalkeeper, who fumbled the ball and saw it roll across the goalline and into the back of the net in the 64th minute.
"It definitely makes it more comfortable getting a second goal but I think we were in control of the game anyway," added Mills.
"The gaffer wants us to be ready whenever we are needed and I felt ready early on, and I think I effected the game well.
"When I am on the pitch I like to be direct and try and create, and I feel like I did that so I am happy."
'Continue the momentum'
Oxford's win keeps the pressure on League One leaders Portsmouth, who are now just three points ahead of the U's in the table.
Mills says the mood in the dressing room has been positive, despite a recent dip in form which saw them pick up just two points from their previous three outings.
"I think inside the camp it has been calm," he said.
"If you actually look at the past three games we have actually played really well, we just haven't been able to kill teams off and they've managed to get back into games.
"But this was a really good away performance and hopefully we can continue the momentum."
