Williams Kokolo: Free-agent defender joins Swindon until January

Swindon have signed defender Williams Kokolo on a short-term deal until January.

The 23-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Burton Albion at the end of last season, after making 16 League One appearances for the Brewers.

Kokolo began his career as a youth with French side Monaco, before joining Sunderland's academy.

He moved to Middlesbrough in 2020 but only made two first-team appearances for Boro, with one in the Championship.
