Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell says he does not feel his job is under pressure after a 11th loss in 13 games.

The Grecians went down 3-0 at fellow strugglers Fleetwood Town to drop to 20th place in League One - a point above Fleetwood, who occupy the final spot in the relegation places.

City had led League One in September but they have not won a league game in almost two months.

When asked whether he feared for his job Caldwell said: "No, not at all."

"I'm in constant dialogue with the club, we all know it's unacceptable, but I believe we can turn this around and I'm speaking to the club weekly.

"I've got a board meeting next week and we will work hard to change this momentum," he told BBC Radio Devon.

Exeter City went top of League One on 16 September with their last league win over Cheltenham Town.

Since then they have picked up just one league point, and while they beat Premier League side Luton Town 1-0 in the third round of the Carabao Cup, they have scored just five goals in that time - three coming that competition.

"There's lots of work to do, we need to stand up and be counted in difficult moments and at this moment in time we're not doing that," Caldwell added.

"Ultimately I pick the team so I have to look at that and take responsibility for that.

"We've got a bit of respite now, we don't have a game next weekend and we can look to do a lot of work on the training ground because so many things need to be better."

Exeter have been hampered by injuries since their poor run with Ilmari Niskanen, Tom Carroll, Ryan Trevitt, Deon Rankine, Jack Aitchison, Reece Cole, Demetri Mitchell and Cheick Diabate among those who have either been sidelined or remain out.

"We have a few injuries that we have to work hard to get back," Caldwell said.

"Deon Rankine comes back next week, Tom Carroll will be back, hopefully Reece Cole will be back for the next game, which gives us real quality.

"But as individuals we have to look at ourselves and we have to be better, and that starts on the training pitch.

"You have have to work hard, that's where you can regain your belief and your form, but doing good things on the training pitch consistently and then bringing it out on a matchday.

"I still believe that if we can get a win we can turn this around, and I still believe in this group of players, but we can't have as many off days as we had in the first half and expect to win a game of football."
