Mick Bickle: Former Plymouth Argyle striker dies aged 79

Former Plymouth Argyle forward Mike Bickle has died aged 79.
Bickle scored 74 goals in 195 games and joined Argyle aged 21 from St Austell having worked as a milkman.
He made his debut in December 1965 and scored seven goals in his first four games, ending his first season at Home Park as top scorer.
Bickle went on to top Argyle's scoring charts for four consecutive seasons and is one of just two men to score four goals in a game twice for the club.
He left Argyle for Gillingham in the summer of 1971 for a £4,000 fee, but was forced to retire the following season aged 29 after a neck injury.
Bickle was granted a testimonial in 1973 when 12,000 saw Argyle face top-flight Manchester City and worked at Devonport Dockyard after his footballing career came to an end.
