Matty Phillips: West Bromwich Albion forward out for four months with hamstring injury

West Bromwich Albion forward Matty Phillips will be out of action for four months because of a hamstring injury, manager Carlos Corberan has said.
The 32-year-old went off just before half-time in Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Championship leaders Leicester.
Phillips has played in all West Brom's 19 league games this term, scoring three goals and making three assists.
"It's such a pity because he loves being part of the group and he loves football," Corberan said.
The Baggies boss said it is disappointing to lose a player who has played such a crucial role in Albion's start to the Championship season.
"He's a very well-respected player because he's an example for every single player in the squad," Corberan said.
"He works so hard to prevent injuries. He's always one of the first in the building and one of the last out at night."
Corberan confirmed Phillips' injury concerns both his tendon and muscle, and may require surgery.
"He has been speaking with the consultant to see if we need to proceed with surgery or not," said the Spaniard.
"The decision to have surgery is about the risk. The timing will not make too much difference. Sometimes injuries are part of football and we have to accept it."
West Brom are fifth in the Championship table, four points clear of seventh-placed Blackburn Rovers who sit just outside the play-off places.
