Will Jenkins Davies made three substitute appearances in League One for Plymouth Argyle last season

Torquay United have re-signed Plymouth Argyle midfielder Will Jenkins Davies on loan.

The 19-year-old, who has played 11 times for the Pilgrims in all competitions, made 11 appearances for the Gulls earlier this season.

His first spell at Plainmoor was cut short after he suffered a knee injury at Hemel Hempstead on 23 September.

But, having returned to fitness, he has resumed his spell at the National League South side.

"When Will was injured, it was always a strong possibility that we would get him back when he was fit," Torquay boss Gary Johnson told the club website.

"Plymouth were happy with us, we were happy with them, and we were certainly happy with Will.

"Now he's fit, we're really delighted to have him back, and it gives us another string to our bow."
