Blackpool winger CJ Hamilton extends contract to 2026

CJ Hamilton has signed a new contract extension that will keep him at Blackpool until at least June 2026.

The winger, who joined from Mansfield Town in 2020, has played 116 games for the Seasiders and scored 11 goals.

Hamilton, 28, who has one cap for the Republic of Ireland, has recorded the most assists in League One this season, along with Peterborough United's Kwame Poku.

"I love everything about this club and what it represents," he said.

Hamilton will be at Bloomfield Road for the next two seasons after this one, with the option of an extra 12 months on top of that.

The player told the club's website:, external "Everyone here - the fans, the players, the staff, they're all great and I've always enjoyed my time here.

"I think I've really grown as a player since I first joined the club, both on and off the field."
