Barnet 1-4 Newport County: Rapid start sees Exiles into FA Cup third round

League Two Newport County got the better of National League Barnet at the second time of asking as they booked their place in the FA Cup third round.
The sides could not be separated last week, as Danny Collinge's 89th-minute strike earned Barnet a home replay.
Lewis Payne, Omar Bogle and a Collinge own goal gave Newport an early three-goal lead, though Harry Pritchard pulled one back before half-time.
But Seb Palmer-Houlden's strike sealed victory, as Newport ended 4-1 winners.
County's prize for winning is a third-round match at home against Eastleigh, who are currently seven places below Barnet in the National League.
Newport County manager Graham Coughlan told BBC Sport Wales: "This was our objective entering the competition [reaching the third round].
"That was a really tough encounter, the two games, we learnt from the first game and got our tactics spot on which the lads carried out.
"Barnet passed the ball very well, we knew it was going to be tough, so fair play to the lads, it was emphatic in the end."
