Billy Sharp: Hull City agree deal to sign veteran striker

Hull City have agreed a deal to sign former Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp on a deal until the end of the season, BBC Radio Humberside reports.
The 37-year-old is a free agent after leaving LA Galaxy at the end of the MLS regular season in October.
Sharp has scored 255 goals in 642 league appearances in his career.
Hull owner Acun Ilicali would not confirm Sharp's arrival in an interview with the station but confirmed the club had completed a signing.
"One signing is already done but unfortunately it is a secret. He was one of our targets and we are very happy to get him," Ilicali said.
"We have to wait for January for the others but this one we can announce in two days maybe, who knows. I'm the one who always gives clues to who we are signing."
The vastly experienced Sharp helped boyhood club Sheffield United win promotion to the Premier League last season before ending his eight-year spell at Bramall Lane in the summer.
Hull are sixth in the Championship, three points clear of seventh place.
