Aidomo Emakhu: Millwall forward signs new long-term contract

Aidomo Emakhu scored his first goal for Millwall in a 3-1 defeat at Norwich in August

Young Millwall forward Aidomo Emakhu has signed a new long-term contract at The Den.

The 20-year-old has made 17 appearances since joining from League of Ireland side Shamrock Rovers last January.

Earlier this week, the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international scored a hat-trick for Millwall's under-21s against their Cardiff counterparts.

"He's got that excitement factor he can bring to the team," said Lions head coach Joe Edwards.

"He's got a lot to work on (but) it's great news to have him committed to the club."

Millwall have not disclosed the exact length of Emakhu's deal.
