Northampton Town defender Jordan Willis has signed a new contract to remain with the League One club until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old former Coventry and Sunderland player joined Northampton as a free agent on a short-term deal in October after leaving Wycombe in June.

He has featured 13 times for the Cobblers, who are 11th in the table after 23 games.

"He has been a very welcome addition," said Cobblers boss Jon Brady., external

"I know his performances have generated other interest, so it is good news that we have been able to extend his stay."
