Notts County have signed midfielder Scott Robertson on a free transfer from Fleetwood Town.
The 22-year-old has agreed a deal to the end of the 2025-26 season and will be available from 13 January.
Robertson began his career at Celtic and had loan spells with Gillingham, Doncaster and Crewe before joining Fleetwood in January.
"I've been waiting a while to be part of a team that sets up like Notts," Robertson told the club website., external
"I like to take responsibility for the ball and look to pass it forward. I also enjoy getting around the pitch and doing the other side of the game.
"It's a proper football stadium and a big club - I can't wait to get going in front of the fans."
Robertson made 16 appearances for Fleetwood this season, his last in a 3-0 defeat at Wigan Athletic on 28 November.
Notts recruitment lead Richard Montague said: "It will come as no surprise to supporters that, after losing Geraldo Bajrami and Matt Palmer to long-term injuries, central midfield has been a key area of focus for us heading into the transfer window.
"Scott has huge potential but also possesses significant experience from the level above, making us confident that he can have a big impact between now and the end of the season.
"His ability on the ball makes him an excellent fit for the deeper midfield role and we're really impressed with his athleticism and work-rate, which will benefit us both in and out of possession."
