Fleetwood Town have sacked manager Lee Johnson after a run of nine games without a win in all competitions.

The former Bristol City, Barnsley and Sunderland boss only joined the Cod Army in September having been sacked by Scottish side Hibernian in August.

He won just six of his 22 games in charge, losing 10, and leaves the club second-from-bottom of League One.

Assistant manager Darren Way and first-team coach Phil Jevons have also left Highbury with Johnson.
