Leeann Dempster: Queen's Park chief executive steps down after three years

Leeann Dempster joined Queen's Park in January 2021
Leeann Dempster is stepping down as Queen's Park chief executive after three years in the role.
Dempster was part of the Scottish Championship club's move towards full-time professionalism and successive promotions in 2021 and 2022.
She previously held similar roles at Motherwell and Hibernian.
"Now feels the right time for me to step away. I wish everyone connected with Queen's Park all the best," Dempster told Queen's Park's website., external
"It's been an intense three years, steering the club forward since turning professional. I am delighted the club's academy is now operating at elite level, which will nurture young talent towards the first team.
"I would like to thank all those who have given me great support during my time at the club, club directors, staff and a dedicated group of volunteers who have all combined to push the club forward."
And club president David Hunter said of Dempster: "I would like to thank Leeann for all her hard work during her time with us. I would like to wish Leeann every success for the future."
The Spiders recently parted with head coach Robin Veldman and Paul Nuijten has taken charge of recent games.
Queen's Park ended a 15-game winless run with victory over Dunfermline Athletic on Friday evening.
