Blackpool boss Neil Critchley has confirmed League One's joint-top scorer Jordan Rhodes will remain with the club on loan from Huddersfield for the rest of the season.
The 33-year-old striker has scored 15 goals in 22 league appearances for the Seasiders since joining in August.
"The window Huddersfield had to recall him has passed," Critchley told BBC Radio Lancashire., external
"We're delighted because he's been fantastic on and off the pitch."
Critchley added: "I know Jordan is enjoying his time here and wanted to stay.
"We prepared for different scenarios but it was paramount to us that he stayed and thankfully he has."
This is already the former Scotland international's most prolific season since 2015-16, when he scored 17 goals in all competitions.
Rhodes had made more appearances off the bench than as a starter since the start of the 2017-18 campaign and Critchley praised his durability after such a long spell of not playing regularly.
"When you see the way he trains and conducts himself off the pitch and how conscientious he is about his work and profession you know he gives himself the best chance [of staying fit]," Critchley said.
"There's always an element of risk but Jordan reduces that because of the way he looks after himself. He's in really good condition and he trains properly every day."
