Matthew Craig: Doncaster Rovers sign Tottenham midfielder on loan

Matthew Craig joined Tottenham at under-12s level

League Two Doncaster Rovers have signed Tottenham midfielder Matthew Craig on loan until the end of the campaign.

The 20-year-old made his debut for Spurs in the 4-1 win at Leeds on the final day of last season.

The Scotland Under-21 international could make his Rovers debut against Newport County on Saturday.

"He's going to be a very good player and to get him in this early in the window is great," boss Grant McCann told the club website.
