Tony Springett had a loan spell with Derby County last season
Northampton Town have signed Norwich City forward Tony Springett on loan for the rest of the season.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has made 18 appearances for Norwich, including 10 in the Championship this season.
The 21-year-old joins a Northampton team ninth in League One, but nine points outside the play-off places.
"Tony is an exciting, attacking player who can play in the wide positions," said Cobblers manager Jon Brady.
"He has played in the Premier League, the Championship and League One so has a good pedigree and good ability, and we believe he will fit in well in the excellent dressing room we have here."
Northampton, who are unbeaten in three games and have taken 10 points from their past five, are next in action away to Oxford United on Saturday.
