Hull City 1-0 Millwall: Jaden Philogene scores early winner for Tigers

Jaden Philogene made an empathic return from injury as his early goal gave Hull City victory over Millwall and lifted them into the Championship play-off places.
Philogene, out for almost two months with a knee injury, followed up to score after Anass Zaroury's strike came back off the bar.
The result and Coventry's defeat at Norwich meant Hull leapfrogged the Sky Blues into sixth place.
Millwall, meanwhile, have taken one point from their past four matches, scoring just twice in the process, and are five points above the relegation zone.
Morocco winger Zaroury made his debut following a deadline-day loan move from Burnley - one of seven signings made by Hull during the January transfer window.
And the 23-year-old played a pivotal part in the only goal of the game as his fierce shot came back off the crossbar and Philogene sent the rebound into the bottom corner.
Another loan signing, Liverpool youngster Fabio Carvalho, went close to adding a second goal as Hull dominated the first 45 minutes.
Millwall boss Joe Edwards sent striker Tom Bradshaw on at half-time and the visitors threatened in the second half but struggled to create clear-cut chances.
They were unlucky not to equalise, though, when Zian Flemming's audacious attempt to lob keeper Ryan Allsop landed on the top of the net.
Having made an excellent start under boss Liam Rosenior, Hull recently endured a poor run, losing four of five league matches, but have now secured back-to-back wins without conceding a goal.
Hull boss Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside:
"We're really pleased to win the game, first and foremost - that's what we're here to do.
"I felt during passages of the first half and early in the second half the lads were showing the potential that's in this team, which I'm really excited about.
"I knew we needed that second goal, but the way that the back line defended was really good.
"Sometimes in the Championship you have to find a way. That's two 1-0 wins (back-to-back) and I think we can only get better.
"The next bit for us - the cherry on top - is that we make sure that when we're on top and in control of games that we score more goals."
Millwall head coach Joe Edwards told BBC Radio London:
"It was a difficult game. Hull are a very good team and have some very good individual players.
"They gave us a lot of problems in the first half and we didn't respond that well to it. When we had our turn with the ball we were quite sloppy with it.
"It was a tough start for us and we couldn't quite get our foot in the game at any point in the first half.
"We knew at half-time that we had to come out and get better, which I felt we did. There was very little between the two teams in the second half."
