- Published

This season was the first where Ajax featured in the group stage since it was introduced in 2021-22 and it is the first time they have reached the quarter-finals
Ajax reached the quarter-finals of the Women's Champions League for the first time with a late win over Roma.
The Dutch side trailed after Eisa Bartoli flicked a header past Regina van Eijk.
But Tiny Hoekstra levelled for Ajax, arrowing into the far corner after an excellent run by 16-year-old midfielder Lily Yohannes.
And the hosts snatched the victory when Zara Kramzar nodded an 84th-minute Sherida Spitse corner into her own net.
Ajax's fortunes constantly changed on a dramatic night in Group C, as Paris St-Germain came from behind to win the group and knock out Bayern Munich.
The Dutch side progress as runners-up and could face Chelsea, Barcelona, Lyon or PSG in the last eight.
