Republic of Ireland: Search for new manager 'a work in progress'

Tony Keohane, chairperson for the Football Association of Ireland, says he expects the next Republic of Ireland manager to be appointed "in the next short while".
England Under-21 boss Lee Carsley and former Celtic manager Neil Lennon have been heavily linked with the job.
Keohane said he expects a decision in the "not too distant future".
"I don't want to give you an absolute time because it is a work in progress" he told RTE.
The Republic of Ireland have been without a manager since November, when Stephen Kenny left the role after he was not offered a contract extension from the FAI.
"We're getting into the detail, as we should," added Keohane, speaking after a lengthy FAI board meeting on Tuesday evening.
"We had a good update from the Executive team and Jonathan [Hill, CEO of the FAI]. We're very pleased."
When asked if one manager of multiple candidates were in the frame, Keohane added: "I would prefer to make no further comment on that, if you don't mind."
The Republic of Ireland are next in action against Belgium in a friendly on 23 March.
