Nottingham Forest have signed Sporting Lisbon striker Rodrigo Ribeiro on loan for the rest of the season.
Forest have an option to make the 18-year-old's move a permanent one.
Ribeiro has made seven appearances for Sporting - six in Portugal's Primeira Liga - without scoring.
The Portugal Under-20 international rose through the youth ranks at Sporting and made his first-team debut against Manchester City in the Champions League in March 2022.
Ribeiro has scored 11 goals in 42 appearances for Sporting Lisbon's B side in the third tier of Portuguese football.
He becomes Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo's second signing after United States midfielder Giovanni Reyna joined on loan from Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
Ribeiro has taken the number 37 shirt at the City Ground.
Meanwhile, Belgium midfielder Orel Mangala has left to join French club Lyon on loan.
The 25-year-old has made 53 appearances for Forest since signing from Stuttgart in July 2022 and there is an option for Lyon to make the deal permanent in the summer.
