Chelsea and Liverpool meet in the Carabao Cup final - but who made your combined XI?

Wembley awaits as Chelsea take on Liverpool in a mouth-watering Carabao Cup final on Sunday.

While the Reds are after a record-extending 10th triumph in the competition, and what they hope will be the first of four trophies in Jurgen Klopp's last season in charge, Chelsea are hunting their first silverware under Mauricio Pochettino.

We asked you to get involved and name your combined Chelsea and Liverpool teams before the showpiece final at Wembley, and the results are in!

Based on the most popular answers, just two Chelsea players made the team, with Liverpool's players taking up nine spots in the combined XI.

In goal, Caoimhin Kelleher has been handed the gloves and in front of him are a full Liverpool back four in Conor Bradley, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson.

Both of Chelsea's spots come in midfield, with their Argentine World Cup-winner Enzo Fernandez partnering compatriot Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool. Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer was picked as the creative spark in midfield.

In attack, it is a full Liverpool front line, with Mohammed Salah and Luis Diaz starting either side of Darwin Nunez.
