Swindon have re-signed forward Harry McKirdy on loan from Hibernian and Leyton Orient striker Aaron Drinan and Leeds winger Sean McGurk in permanent deals.

McKirdy was Swindon's top scorer during 2021-22, scoring 23 goals as they reached the League Two play-offs.

The 26-year-old only returned to playing in January having recovered from heart surgery in August.

Drinan, 25, scored 20 goals in 96 games for Orient after joining in 2021.

Earlier this week Swindon were placed under a transfer restriction by the English Football League for accruing late payments.

The club is prohibited from paying or committing to pay any transfer fee, compensation fee or loan fee during the current window.

McKirdy moved to the Scottish Premiership side from the Robins in 2022 and has featured 26 times but has yet to score any goals for the club.

Irishman Drinan joined Ipswich's academy in 2018 and made 22 appearances before switching to the O's and helping them win promotion to League One last season.

McGurk did not make a first-team appearance for Leeds, having joined their academy in 2021 from Wigan's youth set-up.

Last season, the 20-year-old was part of the Leeds Under-21s side that won promotion back to Premier League Division 1, where he has scored four goals this season.
