Walsall: Mat Sadler's side 'still chasing' after League Two promotion surge

Walsall boss Mat Sadler says his Saddlers side will keep chasing after quietly soaring into League Two promotion contention following a fantastic February.
After starting the month in 16th, Walsall ended it in the last of the play-off places in seventh thanks to four straight wins.
"January was stop-start for a variety of reasons," Sadler told BBC Radio WM.
"But, while we've achieved nothing yet, February has been a good month."
Walsall showed in the run-up to Christmas and over the festive period itself that they have the capacity to put a string of results together.
This latest run has finally edged them into the play-off zone with just 12 games left, as Sadler's Saddlers bid to bring back League One football to Bescot for the first time since 2019.
"We've actually been really consistent for some time," said Sadler. "But, although we're now in the top seven, there will be no let-up.
"The hunger remains the same. We're still chasing. There's still just over a quarter of the season to go - and they key to it all is continuing."
Sadler is also convinced that the surging spirits of the Saddlers fans has created the atmosphere at Bescot to help inspire his side.
"The tempo in the stadium against Accrington on Tuesday night was great," he said. "In fact it was one of their staff who commented on just how good our fans were. And we're going to keep needing them."
Walsall now face three of the current bottom five over their next four matches.
They host 20th-placed Doncaster Rovers this Saturday - their fourth home game in five matches.
That is followed by trips to 23rd-placed Forest Green Rovers and 21st-placed Colchester United, either side of a home date with fellow promotion hopefuls Barrow.
