Hull City left-back Matty Jacob has signed a new three-year deal.

The 22-year-old has made eight appearances for the Tigers since making his debut at Sheffield Wednesday on 1 January.

"I'm delighted for him and for the club. He's so deserving of a long-term contract," boss Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside., external

"I love having people like Matty in the building. He's low-maintenance, hard-working and brilliant for our culture."

Rosenior added: "He's got a lot of improving to do but I'm sure with his temperament he'll get to where he wants to be.

"He sums up everything I want in a young professional. He lives, breathes and eats football. He's going to have a very good career."
