Sassuolo's Josh Doig, Max Johnston of Sturm Graz and Bristol City's Tommy Conway all return to the Scotland Under-21 squad for the Euro 2025 qualifier with Kazakhstan on 21 March.

Conway and Johnston were injured for the camp in November while Doig returns after being in Steve Clarke's A squad.

Lewis Fiorini - on loan at Charlton from Manchester City - is also back.

Head coach Scot Gemmill's team are second behind Spain in Group B at the midway point in qualification.

Midfielder Fiorini has had a lengthy spell on the sidelines but returns to Gemmill's squad along with Josh Mulligan, who is involved after missing the last double header.

However Ben Doak is a notable absentee for the game in Paisley as the Liverpool winger continues his recovery from a knee injury suffered in December.

Jeremiah Mullen, who has been ever present in this campaign, also misses out after getting injured playing for Inverness Caledonian Thistle on loan from Leeds United.

After a 1-0 defeat to Spain, Scotland won back-to-back matches at Fir Park against Hungary and Malta then defeated Belgium and drew in Budapest.

Following the game in Paisley, Scotland will then host Belgium - who are also on 10 points in the group - and Spain and travel to play Kazakhstan and Malta later in the year.

The nine group winners automatically go to next year's finals in Slovakia, with the three best runners-ups also qualifying and the other runners-up going into play-offs.
