Lincoln City loanee Conor McGrandles will not play again this season because of an ankle injury.

The 28-year-old made five appearances after rejoining the Imps from Charlton in the January transfer window.

He previously played for the club from 2020 to 2022, scoring six goals in 96 matches in all competitions.

"It's not good news about Conor. He's got to go and have an op. We won't see him again this season," boss Michael Skubala told BBC Radio Lincolnshire., external

McGrandles is the second Lincoln player ruled out for the rest of the season in the space of two weeks.

Fellow midfielder Ethan Hamilton will not play again in 2023-24 because of a knee injury.

Lincoln are currently 10th in league One, eight points outside the play-off places, and will be away to promotion-chasing Barnsley on Saturday.
