Richie Wellens: Leyton Orient boss fined £2,400 for red card
- Published
Leyton Orient head coach Richie Wellens has been fined £2,400 by the Football Association after being sent off in his side's win at Oxford United last month.
Wellens admitted acting improperly in the 85th minute of the game after he held onto the ball after it went out for a throw-in to the home side.
But he will not face a touchline ban after a hearing with an independent disciplinary commission.
It means he will be in the dugout for Saturday's trip to Wigan Athletic.
