Cardiff City: Captain Joe Ralls signs new Bluebirds contract

Joe Ralls has featured 28 times in the Championship for Cardiff City this season
Captain Joe Ralls has signed a new one-year contract with Cardiff City.
Ralls' previous deal was due to expire in the summer but he will now stay with the club until at least 2025.
The 30-year old, who has been with Cardiff since 2010, could trigger an extension until 2026 with an appearance clause included in his new deal.
"I'm really proud to continue my journey here," he said. "I'm enjoying working with the manager and this group of players.
"We have the ability to have a really strong finish this season and to carry it on for years to come.
"It's something I'm really excited about and I want to be a major part of that."
Ralls is currently the Bluebirds' longest-serving player having joined the club from Farnborough.
He has amassed more than 350 appearances for the club and was part of the side that gained promotion into the Premier League under Neil Warnock in 2018.
"Rallsy grew up here. He's earned this new deal with his performances this season," Cardiff boss Erol Bulut said.
"But other than that, he's a captain and our leader. His management of our team is so important. He pushes our squad whether on the pitch or not.
"These types of people have to stay. The board and myself knew he had to continue at our club. We are delighted he's agreed to stay."
