Steve Evans: Stevenage boss charged with breaking touchline ban
- Published
Stevenage manager Steve Evans has been charged with failing to comply with a touchline suspension.
The Scot allegedly breached the terms of a ban during their game with Peterborough United on 13 March.
Boro were beaten 3-1 at the Weston Homes Stadium in a game between two teams in the League One play-off spots.
The original ban came into effect automatically because of yellow cards shown to former Leeds and Gillingham boss Evans this season.
He has until 21 March to respond to the charge.
Yellow and red cards for managers were introduced in English football for the 2018-19 season.
