Hearts 2-0 Hibernian: Scorer Kathleen McGovern sent off as hosts win in SWPL

Kathleen McGovern scored and was sent off as Hearts beat Hibernian at Oriam to move six points clear of their Edinburgh rivals in the SWPL.

Jessica Husband set up McGovern to head fourth-placed Hearts' early opener.

However, McGovern then received a straight red card for her challenge on Naomi Powell, leaving the hosts with 10 players for almost 70 minutes.

Hibs could not make their numerical advantage count and Megan Bell's free-kick doubled Hearts' advantage.
