Time was right for Scarr to leave Argyle - Rooney

Plymouth Argyle manager Wayne Rooney says it was the right time for Dan Scarr to leave the club.
The 29-year-old central defender joined newly-promoted League One side Wrexham on Friday for an undisclosed fee.
Scarr was part of the Plymouth side that won the League One title in 2023 and played more than 100 games for the club in three years.
"For Dan it was a good opportunity for him, for his family as well," Rooney told BBC Radio Devon.
"We had a good chat about it and I think sometimes the time is right for both parties.
"I think he's been a really good servant to the club, but the time was right for him and maybe for the club as well, and now it's an opportunity for us to bring someone else in, and I'm really hoping we'll have that done before Sunday."
Argyle do have options in central defence after Iceland international Victor Palsson joined last month while Lewis Gibson, Julio Pleguezelo and Brendan Galloway are also options.
