Former Harrogate Town captain Josh Falkingham has signed non-contract terms and ex-Newport County defender Kyle Jameson has joined on a short-term contract.

Falkingham, 35, moved into a role as the club's director of youth at the end of last season after making 302 appearances for the side as a midfielder.

Jameson, 27, was a free agent after leaving the Exiles at the end of last season.

Both players could feature for Harrogate, who are one point above the League Two relegation zone, in Saturday's home game against Walsall.

"Everybody knows how much the club means to me, so when asked it was always going to be a yes," Falkingham told the club website., external

"I'm feeling fit and mentally ready for the challenge, I wouldn't have agreed to it if I didn't feel I could add value."
