Stoke City have signed French winger Lamine Cisse from Ligue 2 side SC Bastia for an undisclosed fee, reportedly in the region of £2m.
The 22-year-old has signed a four-year contract and becomes the Potters' ninth summer signing.
Cisse, a product of AS Nancy Lorraine's academy and a former France Under-19 and U20 international, registered 16 goal involvements in 28 starts last season.
"We have tracked Lamine throughout the summer but have had to be patient to complete this transfer, which we believe will be worth the wait," said Stoke's sporting director Jonathan Walters, external.
"He is a quick, direct and agile forward with the versatility to play across the front line. He's the type of player who will get fans on their feet with his pace, direct play and ability to create and score goals.
"Lamine is very close to full fitness after a minor shoulder injury and we're excited to see him in action for Stoke City in the near future."
Cisse, who will wear the 29 shirt, said he was "very excited" to join a "historic and prestigious club in England".
"I have worked very hard on my game, and believe I am now more versatile as a player," he added.
"The manager [Mark Robins], sporting director [Walters] and [scout] Mamady Sidibe excited me with their vision and I am very thankful for their trust."
