Hull City have signed Aston Villa forward Louie Barry on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has also signed an undisclosed length contract extension with Premier League Villa.
Barry spent the first half of the campaign in League One with Stockport County and scored 15 goals in 23 league games for the Hatters.
"I'm really excited. I had a good start to the season and, hopefully, I can end it really well," he told the club website., external
"I spoke to the gaffer and he said all the right things. I watched the Sheffield United game and that was a big turning point for me because everything the gaffer said was spot on and came to fruition.
"I just want to get out there now. I haven't played for about a month and I'm chomping at the bit to get out and hopefully score a few goals."
Barry could make his debut for Ruben Selles' men in Saturday's home Championship game against Stoke City.
The former England Under-18 international scored in his only senior appearance to date for Villa in an FA Cup defeat by Liverpool in January 2021.
He has subsequently had loan spells with Ipswich, Swindon, MK Dons, Salford and two separate stints with Stockport.
