Newport County have signed Cardiff City's Wales Under-21 international Tom Davies.
The 21-year-old joins the League Two club on a permanent deal, signing an 18-month contract.
Left-back Davies, who can also play in midfield, was due to see his Cardiff deal expire at the end of the season.
Davies becomes County's third signing of the January window following the arrivals of goalkeeper Lewis Webb and David Ajiboye, who arrived on loan from Peterborough on Thursday.
Davies joins the Exiles having appeared in the Bluebirds' FA Cup third-round win at Sheffield United last week.
He has previously spent time on loan at Scottish side Kilmarnock and Cymru Leagues outfit Pontypridd having joined Cardiff aged 14.

"I think it's the right move for me now at this stage of my career," Davies said.
"I've had a few loans previously and have had a taste of first-team football but I'm now ready to kick on and play as many first-team games as I can."
Davies signed his first professional contract at Cardiff after making his senior debut in a League Cup tie against Sutton in 2021, extending his stay with a fresh deal last summer.
He won four caps for Matty Jones' Wales Under-21 side in their recent European Championship qualifying campaign.
