Wrexham suffer Burton injury blow

Wrexham are waiting to discover the extent of goalkeeper Callum Burton’s thigh injury.
Burton suffered the injury early in the first half of his side’s 1-0 win over Barnsley in League One on Tuesday evening.
Manager Phil Parkinson said Burton would be assessed but will definitely miss Saturday’s game at Burton Albion.
"It looks like a thigh strain so he’ll go for a scan,” Parkinson said.
"Callum’s not going to be fit for the weekend, there’s no chance of that. But the extent of it we don’t know.
"Really disappointed for Callum because he’s been brilliant since he came into the side."
The 28-year-old had been given his chance when Arthur Okonkwo was ruled out for six weeks after he broke his wrist in the win over Mansfield Town in early November.
Parkinson said former Arsenal keeper Okonkwo was still a "couple of weeks" from returning.
Burton was replaced by Mark Howard after only 23 minutes of the game against Barnsley and the manager was full of praise for the veteran keeper.
"Special mention to Mark because what a great example to all our young players and the lads who have not been in the team," Parkinson added.
"He’s trained well every day, so professional, and he’s been preparing himself for the moment if it comes.
"It did and he took it brilliantly. His distribution was great and he’s made one really important save."
Wrexham remain second in League One after the 1-0 win against Barnsley at the Stok Racecourse, with Ollie Rathbone scoring a stoppage-time winner.
